Zoe Radio is back on the air! Hooray!

I was hoping iTunes 7 would allow me to override the number of episodes for each podcast. I only need the most recent NPR hourly news, though there are other podcasts where I'd like to be able to get 5-10 episodes I haven't heard.

Juice doesn't seem capable of doing this either.

Before I dive into writing a Perl cgi that will parse the RSS feed and remove all but the first <item>, does anyone have any suggestions for a better podcatcher?

Susie Bright's podcast is there -- and so are loads of other good things I haven't tried yet. Want a free one-month subscription including one download credit? Go here:

Hello Radio: The Songs of They Might Be Giants

I just heard the cover of "Ana Ng" on Coverville #220. Yummy.

If you liked the music in High Fidelity and wish you could get the characters to make mix CDs for you, you need to be listening to Zoe's Radio Show. She's been publishing new shows more often than in the past, and I hope she keeps it up -- although she's pretty busy, what with her volunteer job, and going to high school, and that. Someone at the New York Times needs to beg her to write a music column.

Well, I've gone and joined a cult. My membership badge is black and has a 30GB hard drive, and it plays videos -- I like the Clerks 2 videoblog (vodcast?) and I'm still discovering others.

[ profile] turtlebat23 has forbidden me to mention her happy news, so let's just hope she blogs about it soon.

We've been cleaning the apartment bit by bit, and buying textbooks, and just generally defragging our lives.

So... favorite video podcasts, audio podcasts (retronym much?), and other stupid iPod tricks?
