Hey, I'd like some advice on good music because I get seven free CDs from yourmusic.com and I'd like to learn about what I've been missing.

My queue right now is the self-titled album from Los Lonely Boys, and after that it's just a bunch of Keb' Mo'.

I like, in no particular order: Dar Williams, Aphex Twin, Bobby McFerrin, They Might Be Giants, Moxy Fruvous, Metallica (from around "Master of Puppets"), Gloria Estefan, Wendy Carlos, Bonnie Raitt, Anne Murray, Elliot Smith, and Jean Grae. Also other stuff.

So if you don't mind, would y'all take a look at what they've got and tell me what I should add to my queue? (Actually I think I get four free right away and three in my monthly queue.)

Hell, I may actually stick around for this after the freebie... $5.99 flat for any CD? Hells yeah.

Can't go wrong with the Keb Mo.

But they've got Shatner. How can you live without owning Shatner?

I didn't have a whole lot of time to browse through the catalog but saw two you might be interested in if you don't already have them:

Belle & Sebastian -- Dear Catastrophe Waitress
Quirky yet mellow Scottish band that put together catchy songs with
lovely melodies. There's not a track on this disc that I don't like
and I frequently have "If She Wants Me" looping in my head throughout
the day.

Jeff Buckley -- Grace
This should in everyone's music collection. It's
heartbreaking that Jeff Buckley left this world so soon--he had so
many more songs in him. This, his debut, is still my favorite. The
songs--every damned one of them--is achingly beautiful. I never get
tired of listening to this CD.

I didn't get to check whether this site carried some of the bands/artists below, but they're ones I'm liking a lot lately.

Arcade Fire
Bloc Party
The Bravery
The Dears
Elefant
Kings of Convenience
Rufus Wainwright

Hope this helps. :)

What I've gotten from them and thus know they have: the soundtracks to A Mighty Wind, Avenue Q, the 25th anniversary of the Muppets music collection, and probably of less interest to you, two Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas CDs, Velvet Revolver's album, and next, Suicidal Tendencies' Prime Cuts.

Hmm, I definitely want to hear the Muppets stuff, but maybe I'll just borrow that if you're willing.
