The problem with LJ is we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Live journal is just another methoid of communication. Most of the things posted on the adverage live journal is suplimentary 'Noone was here to tell this too' materials and things that people feel a wider audiance might be intersted in, or things you feel others should know. Unless someone uses LJ as a form of close and personal communication with someone, it's pretty impossible to feel close to someone just because you read their public postings. (Even 'friends only' postings are public, really)

Maybe it's just cause I'm antisocial by nature, but I've never had a thought that I'm close to someone just because of an online journal or forum posting.

So... yeah. My reaction to the meme has little to do with what the meme is supose to stand for. :)
