I came out pretty much in the middle -- because I live on the outskirts of the South but am intellectual. You get blue points for, essentially, living in Manhattan and knowing egghead culture; you get red points for living in the sticks and knowing NASCAR and Rush Limbaugh and such.

Rich people in Key West claim that tourists are ruining their McMansions. To paraphrase the most famous resident of Truman Annex, if they can't take the heat, perhaps they should get the hell out of Key West and go live on a private island.
