What passes for health food in Pittsburgh

Jodi's scared to go into McKees Rocks to go to Pierogies Plus, since she's always been told to stay the hell out of the Rocks. But today we went to Clara's Pittsburgh Pierogies, which rocked. Who knew that pasta stuffed with cheese and starch could be so tasty when covered with fat and fried onions? ("Hey! You leave it alone! Don't hate, hater!" -- Jodi) They also serve the best haluski we've ever had, and the first dessert pierogies we've even heard of. (Hot apricot jam inside pierogies, which are then topped with ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and cherries.)
