sylvarIt's been a busy week at TBLC, since we're preparing for the launch of the iBorrow project next week. I've been handling a lot of routine library automation requests and also helping my co-workers get ready for iBorrow.
It's been pretty busy at home, too. I was up until 1am doing laundry, and this week I've been taking Jodi to school on my way to work (so that she can focus on academic stuff), which means we have to leave the house early, which means I invariably forget something. Tonight we're driving to a library to get a book that isn't immediately available through USF, then picking Amanda up in Indian Rocks Beach, then coming home, where I'll do some dishes and more laundry.
I was able to get some trash bags at Costco, and I was going to buy 10 Brita pitcher filters for $38 and change, but the cashier told me there's a $10-off coupon next week. So I'll get those next week. I scrubbed both catboxes thoroughly and refilled them with clean litter; it's been too long since I made the time to do that. And our VOIP equipment is set up; sometime Monday our standard phone number will be transferred from the old phone service to the new VOIP-over-DSL line. The wi-fi reception is now much better in the living room, since the wi-fi router, DSL modem, and VOIP adapter are all in the dining room now. The TiVo reports a signal strength of 97-100%. (Not surprising, since I've used hackerish firmware to dial up the transmission strength on the wi-fi router!
And now it's time to go play in traffic. Bye!
