Woo hoo!
I've almost got the condo ready to sell -- just some floor scrubbing at this point, I think, although I'll keep packing up the least-used stuff to show off the storage space.
While Jodi's laundry was in the machines, I went to Dillard's to check out the sales. I went up to the Home Store, which I'd never done before, and discovered something that made me happier than I have been in a long time.
Not only do they have our plates and accessories, they also have lots more that I never even knew existed. And not only that, but they have "square salad plates" -- which are PERFECT sushi plates! $25 for four wasn't even that bad a price.
So you can understand how I felt when it turned out that the real price was $15 for four. Oh emm effing gee.
And since I was using a merchandise credit from some pants I returned, my cash outlay was zero, which is nice when one is saving for a wedding. Better yet, there's enough credit left to get a lasagna pan or a pitcher. And the 5-piece completer set is only $39 -- I totally need the serving bowl and serving plate. I can do without the sugar and cream pots, and I'd buy the servingware separately if I could (I'd buy two of each).
But hey -- this day's gone a lot better then I *could* have guessed.
