Stereo parts are on their way!

sylvarHooray! I already knew that the non-electronic parts were arriving Thursday, but now it appears that Amazon's super-saver shipping will get the stereo itself to me on Friday!
I was really nervous, because Amazon estimated at first that it would arrive August 15, too late for the road trip. I should have paid for faster shipping, but it looks like all is well anyway. (And I had a Plan B: buy the damn thing from Best Buy and return the one Amazon sent me. I had planned to return it to Amazon, although devious minds could surely find a way to get a bit more money from that transaction.)
So I guess Saturday will be the day I try to install the stereo. There are instructions, apparently, so I should do okay. And if not, I can pay Best Buy $50 to install it (and forfeit my geek bragging rights)...
