Well, the physician's assistant gave me a prescription for a Z-Pak and told me to keep taking the guaifenesin and pseudoephedrine I'd started with. He said there's still a chance I could pass it on, so I called in and said I'd be back Monday. *sigh* I really want to go back to the office...

I'm also setting up an appointment for a vasectomy, which should come out under $100 or so including all visits and tests. To answer the inevitable questions: yes, I 'm quite sure; Jodi and I have been talking about this for over a year. We don't want any kids, and if we ever changed our minds, we'd have to adopt a kid old enough to walk around by himself anyway.

I'm saddened that you won't be donating your genes to the great pool of stupidity. Raising kids is a hard job and not everyone is up for it.

With Jodi's permission, I would be glad to donate my genes -- the old-fashioned way, of course. :)

Raising kids, on the other hand, is definitely not my thing.

In all seriousness, just remember that once you take that step, you can't go back. You're sure you don't want kids *now* but what about 10 years from now?

Remember, always make a backup before you delete.

We'd have to adopt anyway -- we can't raise a baby. (Jodi can't carry a baby from one place to another, for one.) And I can't imagine wanting *less* sleep or spare cash when I get older. But thanks. :)

i respect your choice entirely. the last thing this world needs is people raising kids they don't want. babies are HARD and being pregnant strongly reinforced my pro-choice stance. nobody should ever go through this without their full consent.

Oh good, so Les and I aren't the only ones!
