Well, the physician's assistant gave me a prescription for a Z-Pak and told me to keep taking the guaifenesin and pseudoephedrine I'd started with. He said there's still a chance I could pass it on, so I called in and said I'd be back Monday. *sigh* I really want to go back to the office...

I'm also setting up an appointment for a vasectomy, which should come out under $100 or so including all visits and tests. To answer the inevitable questions: yes, I 'm quite sure; Jodi and I have been talking about this for over a year. We don't want any kids, and if we ever changed our minds, we'd have to adopt a kid old enough to walk around by himself anyway.

  1. What first drew you to Jodi?

  2. She's got big boobs. Later I discovered a very nice brain north of them.

  3. As you see it, what is your purpose in the Universe?

  4. I don't think people have a purpose. I don't seem to, anyway.

  5. Your most bittersweet VAX memory?

  6. Finding out that [livejournal.com profile] fizzgig_bites had tried to seduce me (bought me sushi, invited me to her place afterwards) and I was too naïve to notice.

  7. The most irrational fear you've ever had?

  8. Needles. By observing the actual experience when I've had no choice but a blood draw or injection, and comparing it to my fear of having my body punctured by a sharp object, I've managed to get to the point where I could probably give blood voluntarily. I just haven't felt much motivated to do so.

  1. What should library schools be teaching that they aren't teaching now? Are there any classes you'd like to create just so that they existed, or so you could take them?

  2. Tell me about the last time when you said to yourself (or others), "God, I LOVE this job!"

  3. What moment from a VAX gathering sticks out in your mind as being most memorable? most outrageous?

  4. How on earth did it happen that we never hooked up during all that time we were both lonely and flirtatious?

  5. What are the principles of integrated pest management, and how does this approach differ from that of the "Green Revolution" era?

  6. No, just kidding. Although if you're curious... )

  7. What kind of a sick freak are you? You've got like every Stephen King book. What's up with that? Is it healthy to enjoy that kind of stuff?
