Congressman Lynn Westmoreland: The Ten Commandments is, is not a bad thing, uh, for people to understand and to respect.

Colbert: I'm with you.

Westmoreland: Where better place could you have something like that than in a judicial building, in a courthouse?

Colbert: That is a good question.  Can you think of any better building to put the Ten Commandments in -- than in a public building?

Westmoreland: No.

Colbert: [looks mildly surprised]

Westmoreland: I think if we were totally without 'em, we may lose a sense of our direction.

Colbert: What are the Ten Commandments?

Westmoreland: What are all of them?  You want me to name 'em all?

Colbert: Yeah.  Please.

Westmoreland: Um... Don't murder. Don't lie. Don't steal. Um, I can't name them all.

When I want to be ruthless, and accurate, I say that after 2000 years, Jewish culture is still a bit much for Indo-Europeans to handle. They really need to go back to worshipping gods that fit their narrow mentalities, gods that represent simple concrete things. Concrete literally, since they need statues. They really should be worshipping Zeus as part of a State Religion.
