Hey! I didn't expect that!

sylvarSo I called State Farm and said I needed them to authorize a full-size car instead of a standard (it's only a few dollars a day more). I explained to them that the car I had been given was way too small -- that I'm 6'4" and that's why I drive the Taurus that was damaged by their customer. I said I couldn't even see the road unless I craned my neck way forward.
And after a brief call to my garage to make sure they were doing the repairs, they put it into the rental company's computer. I called them up and they said "Yup, we can do that. As soon as we get one in, we'll call you."
So now I'm not driving the car that wasn't there, even though it's now here, and I'll be driving the car that still isn't there.
I dunno, I'll probably drive the Lancer to pick up some lunch (I have GOT to go shopping and do some cooking tonight!) and back to the rental shop -- but I'm glad I won't have to do much more with it.
