and it's badly fascinating. I'm going to bed because I should although I don't want to. (But I wouldn't be able to get much further without A First Dictionary and Grammar of Láadan anyway.)

laadan seemed familiar, but i couldn't remember where it was from, so i had to google it. i read a couple of the native tongue books back in middle or high school. i only remember the general story, but i do remember enjoying them.
