Rental

I've spent the last hour trying to get a rental car.  Various branches have been suggesting I call each other, and one eventually said they'd call around to find me something.  They'll call me back when they have something for me.

I hope I get a Chevy Aveo; it's listed in their cheapest group, but I've driven those and I like them fairly well.  I would have bought one instead of the Mazda 626 except that the one I tested had a weird suspension.  I certainly fit well in them.

Meanwhile, I'm just sitting at home.

YES. Unfortunately, I don't think they're hiring for that right now. Of course, that doesn't mean that we don't NEED code monkeys - we certainly do.

They're hiring for a Usability Analyst. I think starting salary is $60,000, plus benefits (including paid insurance premium). I should say, they are about to re-advertise for that position. It's not posted to the website that way, but we just found out. If you know of anyone, let us know. ;) We really need someone good for the position.

How close to Tallahassee would I have to work, and what's the position/salary? Remember, I'll likely be moving in 3 months or in 15 months.

And what's the policy on dating coworkers? Would we be able to go out to dinner and a movie, or would we just have to stay at home? ;)

Well, I know some people who live way out at the beach, and they drive a good ways to work everyday. To offset that, they work a four day work week in office and one day at home... One woman telecommutes two days though, I think.

Oh, and off hand I can think of 6 officefolk that date one another. So I guess dating coworkers at CCLA is fine and dandy. :p
