According to an article in the Christian Science Monitor, a Seattle proposal to fund better education with a 10¢ tax on frou-frou coffee drinks is raising overcaffeinated ire.
Regular brewed coffee and tea aren't subject to the tax -- only the lattes, doppiatos, half double decaffeinated half-caf with a twist of lemon, etc.
