The A plan was to let her get to the bus stop (1/3 mile away) on her own, take the train on her own, get on the #1 bus on her own, and get off a block away from class on her own.
You're going to do this for a few more days, and then she'll be on her own? I think you should decide for sure, as of Monday, or something. This sounds a lot like Ed walking Anna to her seat.
kat are you talking about ed walking flower girl anna to her seat at the frog and toad get married? :) *grin*
Getting around downtown ATL to the "history class" i took (it was three classes for college bound seniors with A average in history) was not a fun deal compared to the ease of getting around UF.
Once you start working J will have to be able to negotiate it on her own so it's nice that you are able to help out while it's so freakin hot. I still ask toad to get the spiders that are high up on the wall and take them outside rather than get a chair and reach them myself;(after surgery i wasn't allowed to climb for a month or two) but there is the point where i have let toad forget to take his lunch. He is a grown up, he can remember it himself but now that i send him out the door everyday w/o leaving before him he seems to have frogotten that! :)

:) i forgot that part.
Oh, and there's a giant spider building a web on the top of the deck, but i'm leaving him there to catch the wasps, hopefully! :)
