Oh, and to actually answer the question about the CPU...it's not cutting-edge anymore, but it's plenty zoomy for what you intend. That's a nice price for something you don't have to build yourself. :)

I still dont understand how well the various operating systems and applications that run on them handle dual core and now quad core ... or is it all transparent ... I am so ignorant ...
