UPDATE: The library found out that there's a donor center at 1955 Monroe Dr., which is a lot more convenient than the Sandy Springs donor center. Yay!

Why not change your number to something local? It has its conveniences.

Because we'll be leaving in a year, and the conveniences for a year don't outweigh the bother of me learning a new number AND the bother for everyone else of learning a new number. Probably I'll get a local number next year.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Where are you moving in a year? :)

Also, I haven't seen you online recently, but I want to pick your brain for info about the southern US. I'm trying to plan a road trip situation with a few friends of mine, and we want to head south, but we're all pretty ignorant of the US. As I understand it, you live in Georgia, and we're either going to be headed to Georgia or right near Georgia.

(Interestingly, we wanted to head to Decatur, GA [admittedly, inspired by both a Mountain Goats song and a Sufjan Steven song], but got it confused with Decatur, AL. Having two Decaturs so close to one another seems very strange.)

We don't know yet. Won't know until next spring, really.

I've done a road trip from Tampa to Pittsburgh, with stops as far west as Chicago and as far north as Milwaukee (or East Lansing), and I'd absolutely love to help you plan a trip. And although we don't have enough crash space for everyone, we'd love to see you if you're in town. (We might be able to find room for just you, mind. *grin*)

I believe both are named after early-U.S. naval officer Stephen Decatur.
