I'd take it to the nearest emergency room or fire station so that someone who has any interest at all in parenting can have a wonderful new baby without bothering with childbirth.

Whoa - the question changed. Weird.

I'd have a hard time letting go of a baby. I would, I guess, but I'd try to get DFCS to let me stay in touch or something.
