I hadn't realized that at the time but to my surprise, something happen when I put the iPod down in that cut holder. The contest is to guess what exactly happened.?
the wrappers glued themselves to the ipod (and possibly also to the cup holder as well; if the latter as well, your ipod is probably adhered to your cup holder).
a random spark from the ipod hit the mass of damp straw wrappers. the wrappers, sitting in a pile of lint (which includes many shed skin cells), old french fry crumbs, and an old forgotten life saver, sparked to life. the wrappers fused together into one larger tentacled being and then used mind control to take over the ipod and use it for communication with you where it demanded a vehicle, money, and 10,000 cheeseburgers. it then proceeded to search out all the straws on the planet to create a new race of straw wrapper cephalopods (p.z. would be proud) to take over the universe.
