According to The Kraftwerk Influence: Samples, it "uses the main melody from Computer Love. Apparently they wrote a personal letter to Ralf and Florian to request permission and got it."

Kraftwerk Fan since 1974

I've been a Kraftwerk fan all my life. It started when my father was in Germany and a friend of his sent the newest Kraftwerk album. I got addicted to Autobaun at that point. I've always loved techno because of Kraftwerk.

I'm always amused or frustrated that no one knows Kraftwerk yet everyone knows Kraftwerk. They are sampled to death and it seems like I hear new songs all the time with Kraftwerk samples. I think they had a minor hit with Electric Cafe in the US in the mid-80s and that's it. It's sad but they will also last a very long time in other's music.

Oh, and if you love bass and Kraftwerk, I recommend Basskraft for an up-to-date sound.

Hmm. I dunno, I listened to a few samples from Basskraft and I don't dig their take on it. But I'll definitely be a Kraftwerk fan for a long time.
