When I see a hotel with an outside elevator, I think, "Oh cool, it's a Transformer!" Then I realize that would kill all the guests. But it'd be a COOL death...

I don't get it. You are assuming it's a Decepticon. And, I get the impression they don't kill for the sake of it ... remember how Megatron merely flicked his finger at the one human in the first movie?

Nope, it's been 14 years since the first movie, and I only saw it once. So I don't remember, alas.

You should see the live action version Michael Bay did last year. I know some people consider live action Transformers sacrilege, and Michael Bay directing it blasphemy, but other than a couple awkward moments it was a great movie, only one I have gone to see in theaters six times ...
