I think I like Kerry better than Edwards

Even though Kerry didn't fill out the survey by Project Vote Smart, and Edwards did, I think I like him better.

Kerry seems to be closer to my position on drug laws -- legalize, tax like other luxury drugs (alcohol and tobacco), and fund better programs for people who want to quit the addictive stuff (including tobacco).

On the other hand, he's way too fond of the USA PATRIOT act, although he has at least said that people accused of Being an Enemy Combatant should get one hearing to find out whether they deserve a lawyer.

I may end up voting Socialist like I did in 1996, but we could do much worse than Kerry, who got a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood.

At this point, I honestly don't care who gets the Dem nomination. I'm an "anybody but Bush" voter this year, and this time, that means somebody who has a chance of winning.
