As soon as we got to the church, Rebekah said she couldn't meet with us after bible study because a crisis had come up. I don't think she expected me to be so enthusiastic about skipping the premarital counseling, but she grokked my explanation; God had it all figured out before any of us.

So I went up to Breckenridge with Jodi and stuffed the car, came home, unpacked it as fast as I could, took care of some dishes and cooked some pasta (the kitchen ladies don't cater to my dietary perversion, nor do I expect them to -- but I did have bread and salad and dessert while others also had baked ziti with meat sauce).

And then, after a shower, I went to bed and slept until I woke up refreshed at 6:30, which gave me time to clean the bathroom floor, fill a few boxes with stuff, do some laundry, and just get things much more closely resembling order.

I haven't felt this good in a long time. I might still want to make it an early evening tonight so I can continue catching up on sleep and maybe storing a bit for the next big push. But at least I'll be able to get Jodi's TV and computer stuff into the car now that it's been more than 24 hours after I gave blood (for the ΧΩ Greek Week drive, yesterday).

And good heavens, I may as well take a Concerta®, it might actually work on a well-rested brain...
