sylvarI must be dim. It took 6-12 months to figure out why my home machine couldn't talk to any of the machines at work. Just now I figured it out: I've got a NIC that's configured to consider that subnet 'home', so Windows kept trying to send data over that connectoid instead of saying "Ooo, no response, I'll try routing these packets over the net."
