It's been a long time since I've made coffee, but the last of my Millstone Personal Blends is finally gone and even at 2½ years old, it was still pretty decent.
They used to offer a service where you told the site what you liked in a cup of coffee, and they'd create a custom blend with the name you chose. I made two bags and called them "Smoked Apricot" and "To Dream of Caramel". They were gooood.
Now that they're merely recommending which of their premade blends you'd most like, I'm wondering if that's what they've been doing all along. Of course, they can probably still make a pretty good match, and it was neat to see my own name and blend name on the bag.
