Anyone using Twitter?

I'm not planning to set up a Twitter account; I update my Facebook status only when it's screamingly inaccurate.  I think it still says I'm looking forward to the election so we can finally get this fella James K. Polk out of the White House.

But I do consume RSS feeds, so if you're using Twitter, please tell me your username and I'll add your feed so that I can eventually find out what you've been up to.

Looking forward to this summer's blockbuster called "Of Course You Know What I Did Last Summer, Everyone On Twitter Knows That".

At this point, I've only signed up so I can get the username before someone else does. Being able to get woot updates via IM is a nice bonus.

*sigh* I don't know why I feel compelled to accept your logic. And yet here I go...

The way I figure it, as long as signing up to something new is not difficult, doesn't require any ongoing maintenance, and accounts don't get auto-deleted after some stupid short amount of time, it doesn't hurt. And then if it ends up being something cool, I don't have to scrounge around after everyone else is on it and get stuck with stuff like "ximinez1" (AIM) or cardinalximinez.

Plus, sometimes, when something takes off, and goes to a pay structure, "early adopters" get nice discounts or bonus features. And again, if it's something I'm going to like anyway, it works out.
