Oof, that was the commute from hell. After I ran into Kinko's to photocopy a few pages for Jodi and then dropped her off on campus, I hit the worst ordinary traffic I've seen. (There's been worse, but it's involved Gator football home games and other major disasters.) From the time I got to the interstate until about 150 feet from the door, I spent more time stopping than going.

Oh, and before that, I had a dream about how easily people can be motivated to do evil.

The local gas supply seems to be stabilizing. Stations advertising gas for $2.99 actually *have* gas to sell. They're rare, but nobody seems to be out of gas around here. So I guess Tampa doesn't have any noteworthy problems now. That makes us awfully lucky, at least until a storm hits us...
